I earned my B.S. in Computer Science from Howard University in May 2025. What excites me most about technology is its constant evolution. I chose to pursue this field because I’m a lifelong learner at heart; the challenge of staying current with new tools and techniques excites me and ensures I’m always growing rather than staying in one box.
My time at Howard and in leadership communities like Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) and Rewriting the Code (RTC) taught me that while technical skills are essential, the real magic happens through community and intentional leadership. I’ve spent my undergraduate years building my brand as a technical leader who knows how to navigate the workplace and collaborate effectively to bring ideas to life.
With a toolkit centered on Python for development and an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification, I build reliable, high-availability systems. I served as the Scrum Master for my senior capstone, leading my team through an Agile workflow to build “Beauty Buddy,” an advanced beauty recommendation system. As a current infrastructure engineer at Credit One Bank, I focus on provisioning cloud resources via Terraform and driving operational efficiency. I recently spearheaded an initiative to automate the rotation of aging credentials across 80+ accounts, reducing a month-long manual process to less than a week and significantly hardening our security posture.
I’m especially energized by solving complex infrastructure challenges and I am currently working toward my CompTIA Security+ and AWS Solutions Architect certifications. I look forward to continuing to lead technical teams where I can focus on development, growth, and building systems that make an impact.
